Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 16, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Checklabs (the “Service”), a menu management and publishing platform operated by Checklabs (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: interfering with normal operation, attempting unauthorized access, uploading malicious code, infringing intellectual property rights, or using the Service to publish unlawful, misleading, or harmful content.

3. Customer Content

You retain ownership of all menus, images, allergen data, and other content you upload to the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that Customer Content is accurate, lawful, and that you have the rights necessary to publish it.

4. Subscriptions & Fees

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice, which will apply at your next renewal.

5. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Scheduled maintenance and emergency downtime may occur without prior notice.

6. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete Customer Content after a reasonable retention period.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
